Continuing with our articles, today we give way to another classic in the area of Capanes Sur – La Alquería, the well-known residential area of Las Lomas del Marques in Benahavis, located in the municipality of this beautiful town and at the same time, very close to San Pedro Alcántara, Puerto Banus and Marbella. An area that in the last few years has been totally consolidated, becoming one of the reference points in the area as far as residential areas are concerned.
Las Lomas del Marques is situated only 5.7 km (10 minutes by car) from the centre of the town of Benahavis, 6.5 km (15 minutes by car) from the centre of San Pedro de Alcántara, 16 km (26 minutes by car) from Marbella, and 20 km (23 minutes by car) from Estepona.
The complex has excellent transport links with both motorway and dual carriageway access to Marbella and Estepona.

The construction of Las Lomas del Marques began in 2004 and was completed in 2006. The complex was built on 40,000 square metres of land situated on high ground, which gives it magnificent views.
Las Lomas del Marques was a project designed by Hugo Torrico, a member of the Villarroel Torrico studio, authors of projects such as the Hotel Puente Romano, Marina de Puente Romano, Marbella Club Hotel and Kempiski Resort & Spa.
Its style could be called Mediterranean Marbella as it is characterised by the predominance of white with the dark wood of its pergolas and the asymmetry of its buildings.

The size of the flats ranges between 100 and 150 square metres and their terraces between 25 and 60 square metres, with the exception of the 35 duplex penthouses which have terraces of more than 100 square metres.
