Beaches in Marbella and the New Golden Mile of Estepona

In addition to the existing infrastructure in both services and tourist establishments, the offer in terms of natural areas of relaxation and leisure by the sea is very wide on our coast, with many beaches in Marbella and Estepona East.

Beaches of Marbella and the New Golden Mile of Estepona

Along the great extension of coast that Marbella and the east of Estepona have in the New Golden Mile, we can find beaches of varied characteristics and extensions like the ones shown below:

Guadalmina

It is located west of San Pedro Alcantara next to the Guadalmina River from which it takes its name. It has a length of about 1,500 meters and an average width of 25 meters.

It is a residential area with villas and luxury apartments.

Linda Vista

It is located after Guadalmina and is approximately 700 metres long and 30 metres wide.

Its sand is dark and thick.

Area of apartments and individual villas.

San Pedro de Alcántara

Beach with 1,400 meters long located in San Pedro Alcántara with a magnificent access both on foot and by car or public transport. It has a pleasant promenade with restaurants and beach bars.

Zone of residential complexes of apartments.

Cortijo Blanco

Beach that takes its name from the urbanization Cortijo Blanco. It is 600 metres long and 25 metres wide.

Easy access by car.

Nueva Andalucía – El Duque

To the east of Cortijo Blanco is the beach of Nueva Andalucía – El Duque, about one kilometre long and 30 metres wide.

Its sand is golden and fine and it is equipped with breakwaters. The famous beach clubs Ocean Club and Budda Beach are located on this beach.

Puerto Banus

Next to the port, we find the beach of Puerto Banus, with a promenade, beach bars, restaurants and all the luxury services offered by the port.

Rio Verde

This beach is located next to the Verde River from which it takes its name and has golden sand.

It has a seafront promenade and a large number of services in a luxury residential area with apartments and individual villas.

El Ancon

It is located next to the urbanization El Ancon and its modern villas.

The access is easy thanks to the promenade being able to arrive walking or by car.

Nagüeles

Located in the most exclusive stretch of Marbella, on the Golden Mile and with the Puente Romano and Marbella Club reference hotels behind it.

Its sand is golden and it has a promenade with excellent services.

Casablanca

In the middle of the Golden Mile, Casablanca beach is dotted with small oases of palm trees and a magnificent promenade in an exclusive area with residential luxury apartments and individual villas.

La Fontanilla

It is one of the most central beaches of Marbella, crossed by a wonderful promenade full of restaurants, shops and varied services.

El Faro

It is located next to the Marbella marina, in the town centre, so access is fantastic.

The city of Marbella is just a stone’s throw away, its magnificent promenade full of shops and restaurants with terraces is a unique attraction.

La Venus

On the east side of the Marbella marina is the Venus beach, which is approximately half a kilometre long and with the city of Marbella just a few steps away.

La Bajadilla

Beach located next to the marina Marina La Bajadilla with an approximate length of 400 meters. It is equipped with beach bars and numerous restaurants specializing in fish and Mediterranean cuisine next to the port.

El Cable

Located on the east side of Marina La Bajadilla marina, at the entrance to the city of Marbella, it offers a variety of summer sports activities.

El Pinillo

Known for the location of an excellent leisure park where concerts and events of all kinds are held as well as water sports and activities.

El Realejo

Located between the beaches of El Pinillo and Los Monteros, this beach has fine golden sand and is approximately 700 metres long.

Los Monteros

Beach of fine golden sand next to the urbanization Los Monteros, an area with luxury apartments and the famous beach bar Trocadero Arena next to the golf course of Rio Real that reaches the front line of the beach.

El Alicate

Beach with approximately two kilometers long located in the urbanization Alicate, a residential area of apartments.

It has several chiringuitos of great quality.

Real de Zaragoza

With almost 1,600 meters long, this beach has fine golden sand and is very close to the beach clubs of the Estrella del Mar and Don Carlos hotels as well as Nikki Beach.

Artola – Cabopino

Located next to the protected area of the Artola Dunes, a natural site declared a natural monument.

It has fine sand and reaches the Cabopino marina. In its wide extension it has nudist areas and chiringuitos.

In the municipality of Estepona, more specifically in the so-called New Golden Mile, we can find the following beaches:

Casasola Beach / Atalaya

It is the most eastern beach of Estepona, in a residential area with individual and residential villas of high quality.

Saladillo Beach

With fine grey sand, this beach is one of the largest in Estepona. It is equipped with beach bars and nautical activities in a residential area with apartment complexes, villas and townhouses.

Guadalmansa Beach or Playa Bella

Located next to the Park Beach and Menara Beach urbanizations, the Tikitano restaurant is a reference point.

Playa del Castor / Arroyo de las Cañas / Velerín

This beach is located between the Castor River and the Cañas stream, with a length of approximately 1,200 meters and 30 meters wide on average.

It is a zone of incipient growth with residential of new construction as Emare.

El Padrón

Next to the Padron River, it is a dark sand beach with the Laguna Village shopping centre and the Kempinski hotel as a reference point.

Punta Plata Beach

With an extension of approximately two and a half kilometers, it is a dark sand beach located at the entrance of Estepona in a residential area with luxury resorts such as Alcazaba Beach, Los Granados del Mar and Bahia de la Plata.
