The year 2014 ended up with an annual 1,8% increase in the properties price, this apparently meaning the property recession which has been ruling the property market for the last 6 years in a row, years which were known for a long standing and severe drop in properties prices. 2015 will be the beginning of the real estate recovery in Marbella?
According to the INE the prices for new properties were increased by a 1.9% whereas prices for resale homes were increased by a 1.7%.
Marbella was the first town hit by the property recession and is currently being the first one to show signs of recuperation in the property market
Marbella has became sort of “ oasis” within the Spanish property market. The property stock is no longer existing and the bottom of the market have been reached. These two facts are encouraging the property market which is currently seeing the return of cranes, show flats, sales plans and list of specifications.
